The cleanest option is to add your developer as their own user where possible. Most tools will support this and even give you the extra option to decide access level needed as full admin access is not always necessary. It also means you can revoke access without changing all your passwords when a project wraps up.
But I'm also realistic and I know adding $$$ to your monthly subscriptions for an additional user isn't always on the cards.
π Alternatively, use a password manager
Where password sharing is unavoidable I would always recommend using a Password Manager to securely share your business secrets!
A few I would recommend are:
- β1Password (paid, and what I use day to day)
- βProton Pass (free up to 2 people)
- βBitwarden (free sharing up to 1 person)

Another popular Password Manager is LastPass. However they have had several leaks over the years, so right now, I would personally steer clear. Always do a quick Google (or Ecosia) search before you settle on any password manager, as the landscape does change.
